Green Space Stories – share your story about your relationship with the landscape

We want you to share your experience of the landscape as part of our major citizen science project – Green Space Stories.

We are creating a free online archive documenting our relationship with the landscape in 2022.

You are encouraged to share a photo, an audio recording, or just a few words that describe a recent memorable experience you have shared with nature, whether in the mountains, on a beach, woodland, or simply a walk in your local park.

It’s all anonymous and anyone will be able to access the archive to search by different themes and topics to find out what others think and feel about our landscape.

Storytelling is a powerful way of communicating our hopes, our dreams and our fears

The National Parks of the UK will look after the archive for five years keeping it accessible to use long after Green Space Dark Skies ends in October 2022.

Green Space Stories is part of Green Space Dark Skies and is a partnership between Walk the Plank, National Parks UK and the University of Salford, commissioned by UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.
