Green Space Dark Skies events was filmed and photographed by authorised, trusted third party film makers and photographers. All footage and images will remain the property of Walk the Plank and the Green Space Dark Skies project.
Walk the Plank is committed to taking great care of your personal data including images and we want you to have every confidence that we will continue to ensure your data and images are only used for the purposes declared in this policy.
By registering as a Lumenator* you agreed to these terms:
I understand that all Green Space Dark Skies Events will be filmed and photographed and that footage and images may be used in films created to broadcast online or on other media as part of the project.
By registering as a Lumenator through the Lumenator Registration platform I understand that footage and images of me may be used.
I consent to Walk the Plank using photographs and/or video recordings of me taken by Walk the Plank or by persons or organisations authorised on behalf of Walk the Plank for the purposes of internally and externally promoting Green Space Dark Skies. These images could be used in any media (existing or later created or made available) including print and digital media formats such as print publications, prospectuses, brochures, websites, e-marketing, posters, banners, advertising, film, social media, teaching and research purposes.
I understand that images on websites can be viewed throughout the world and not just in the United Kingdom and that some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU/UK legislation provides.
I understand that some images or recordings may be kept permanently once they are published and be kept as an archive of the Green Space Dark Skies project, including by the funder, Unboxed as part of the public archive of the project.
I agree that:
· I will not be paid a fee in respect of any use made of the photograph(s) and/or video recording(s) but have the opportunity of being involved in promoting the project in the manner set out above;
· Copyright in the image(s) and/or video recordings will be retained by Walk the Plank; and
· Walk the Plank, including persons or organisations authorised by Walk the Plank to do so, shall have the right to edit, modify, crop, add to or subtract from the photographs and/or video recordings at its entire discretion and without my approval.
*If I am the lead registrant for a group, I understand that I am providing consent on the behalf of the other registrants in the group and confirm I have sought and received their permission, and understand that all terms above apply to each member of the group.
*If I am the lead registrant on behalf of Lumenators under 18 years of age:
I am responsible for giving consent and give consent as their parent or guardian, or
I have sought and received consent from the parents or guardians of members of my group that are under 18 years of age.

Walk the Plank is committed to processing information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The personal data collected on this form will be held securely and will only be used for administrative purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to request to see a copy of the information we hold about you and to request corrections or deletions of the information that is no longer required. You can ask the Walk the Plank to stop using your images at any time, in which case it will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation. This will not include essential footage of the light installations.
You have the right to lodge a complaint against Walk the Plank regarding data protection issues with the Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk/concerns/).
